About Us

I’m Erik, the Owner of Leaves of Two, where we grow delicious and nutritious microgreens in White Lake, Michigan.  I am your local microgreen farmer.

We got our name, Leaves of Two, from the microgreen growing process.  Microgreens are harvested just after they grow the cotyledon (the first two) leaves from the stem of the plant.

I’ve always been passionate about growing plants and vegetables in the backyard garden, and my green thumb has pointed me to my most exciting and rewarding project yet: microgreens. 

After buying them from the grocery store for years, I decided to grow my own, I wanted to know exactly where they came from, avoid any unwanted chemicals, explore more varieties, and enjoy them at peak freshness – and I want the same for you.

As the Grower, I’m passionate about offering fresh, healthy, locally sourced greens that pack a punch with flavor and nutrition.  At Leaves of Two, we grow a variety of fresh, nutrient-dense microgreens from all your favorite plant powerhouses including Sunflower, Pea Shoots, Radish, Broccoli, Mustard, Kale, Salad Mix and a variety of Blends.  They’re tiny greens with big flavor, have more uses than you can imagine, and contain incredible health benefits.

When you walk the aisle in the grocery store, you have no idea how long the produce has been sitting there and what might have been sprayed on them to make them “fresh”.  At Leaves of Two, we use non-GMO seeds, do not use any pesticides or herbicides and grow our seeds in organic soil in a clean, controlled environment.  Once you place your order, we start planting.  We harvest our microgreens two weeks later and deliver them to our customers within 24 hours after cutting.
